Balakumar Balasubramaniam
I am a staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Physics (P-23) division. I obtained my Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign working with Prof. Ronald Adrian at the Laboratory for Turbulence and Complex Flows. Prior to that, I was at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
I am passionate about Engineering, and especially interested in the areas of computational and experimental fluid dynamics: from subsonic turbulent flows to supersonic/multiphase combusting flows. I also pursue embedded systems design in my spare time.
